A beautiful, secluded setting is the location of The Birds Nest in the Galena Territory. Come and relax to the sounds of nature all around you. This beautifully furnished home has three bedrooms all on their own level to afford you and your friends/family maximum privacy, each bedroom features a queen-size bed and its own bathroom. The large living room with gas log fireplace allows you to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while watching TV or playing cards. Step outside to the NEW Outdoor Hot Tub and enjoy a great, private view. The screened in porch is a dream, comfortable, private, amazing. The fully equipped kitchen allows you the option of dining in or you can take a short drive and dine at one of the many great restaurants in the Galena area.

Two large decks and a screened-in porch allow you to view deer, wild turkey and all sorts of wildlife that live in the woods all around the house. Historic Galena is just minutes away with its quaint shops, historic buildings and great restaurants and bars. For skiers Chestnut Mountain is rated one of the Midwest top ski resorts is about 20 miles south.

Your rental will include proximity cards that allow you access to the The Galena Territory Owners' Club. This is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. "The Owners' Club" includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, WiFi and outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800 acre property

Our booking policy is that we require 30% down to hold the home for you (this is a not a deposit). The full balance is due 2 weeks before check in. It becomes non refundable at this point. If you cancel prior to the 2 weeks you will receive your 30% back less a $35 cancellation fee.

  This place was beautiful and so was the house. We enjoyed our time here and if we come back to Galena, we would rent this place again. The only complaint that we had was that we didn't know that the grill was a charcoal grill and not a gas grill. Everywhere else we have stayed had a gas grill. The reason I didn't give it a 5 for the cleanliness is because there were quite a few cob webs and spiders in the house, but because it is in in the woods, we understood.

  We went to the Bird's Nest for a Girls' Weekend and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The exquisite "bird-
  themed decor aligned perfectly with the surroundings. The screened in porch was a delightful addition as it gave us the opportunity to relax, have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, and just talk without the annoyance of insects. The three levels, with a bedroom and bath on each level, provided us with privacy. The management company was very professional and timely in their correspondence with us. I would highly recommend this home to others and intend to come back in the future. I imagine the surroundings must be breathtaking in the Fall.

The screened-in back porch and the hot tub on the lower deck were favorites! We grilled out a lot on the smoker/grill (no gas grill) and appreciated that there was a washer and dryer. The kitchen, although a bit small, was well stocked.

  Our girls weekend was wonderfully spent at the 2 Cumberland Spur location. It was very cozy, fully equipped and clean. The two fireplaces were used every day, as was the hot tub.   We had a family gathering and were so delighted with our stay. The instructions for getting in were very clear and the house was clean, comfortable and just like the photos and description promised. The fireplace and hot tub were so nice to have with chilly weather. An ice storm moved in before our daughter and her husband left and the owner was so helpful in getting a sand truck to come and help them get out of the driveway! Service above and beyond!! There are a number of places to eat in Galena but we also enjoyed being able to relax and prepare our own meals and snacks. The setting is very beautiful, quiet and peaceful!
